Datacenter Dynamics — Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin Singapore) has agreed a deal that will enable its customers to store their data in Switzerland. The company announced a partnership with Green Datacenter AG, a subsidiary of Green.ch Group that specializes in secure Swiss colocation services.
Telekomunikasi Indonesia International Pte Ltd (Telin Singapore), a subsidiary of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International, announced that Telin-1 Changi Data Centre has been awarded a Tier III Certification of Design Documents by Uptime Institute, the globally recognised data centre authority. This Tier III Certification award puts Telin Singapore in an elite group of handful of companies in Singapore to have achieved the prestigious certification from Uptime Institute.
Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin Singapore) has started construction of a 20,000 square metre, five-storey Data Centre and Telecommunication Hub located at Singapore’s Data Center Park (DCP) in Jurong. This new facility will be the third datacenter owned and managed by Telin Singapore. To be branded as Telin-3, it will address the growing demand for premium datacenter services to support Singapore’s Smart Nation vision. It will also address demand from the region and global markets where Telin Singapore is able to play a pivotal role in providing reliable, secured and seamless regional and global telecommunications connectivity services.

The data centre facility will have 20,000 square metres of available floor space. Construction will start in early 2015, and the centre is expected to start supporting Telin Singapore’s customers in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to a company press release on Monday (Dec 1).
