100Gbps submarine cable to link Indonesia with Singapore

IndonesiaMIS Asia — Japan’s IT and network technologies company NEC has partnered PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) to develop the Indonesia Global Gateway Cable System (IGG). The IGG is a 100 Gigabit per second x 80 wavelengths x four fibre pairs optical fibre submarine cable system, according to a press statement by NEC on 8 September 2016. It is expected to be completed in early 2018.
