China will have the world’s first driverless-cars-only city: Baidu CEO

ChinaTech in Asia — At China’s recent Big Data Industry Summit, not everybody was interested in talking about big data. Baidu’s Robin Li, who gave a speech at the summit, is more interested in the role big data can play in the development of artificial intelligence. So he used big data as a springboard from which he made some interesting comments about artificial intelligence, and the future of one particular application: driverless cars.
